How Lightfield's pricing works
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Instead of paying per seat, you pay for the work Lightfield's agents perform: running automations, enriching contacts and accounts, sending sequences, recording and processing meetings. Work that would otherwise pull your team away from customers, or that you'd hire someone to do.
Everyone at your company gets full access. There are no restrictions on who can log in.
What are credits?
Credits are the unit of consumption.
When Lightfield's agents perform work on your behalf, that work draws from your credit pool: your credit pool on Starter, or your annual pool on Pro, Growth, or Enterprise.
If you committed to an annual seat-based contract, the Lightfield team will reach out to you with more information on how that will convert to the equivalent amount of credits for your workspace.
Credits reset annually. You draw from your pool through the year, and if you use it all, additional credits are billed at your plan rate.
What uses credits
Action | Driver | Credits | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
Contact enrichment | Per record | 2 | The agents fill in all missing context on a contact, like title, company, and contact details. Credits are charged per record, not per field. |
Account enrichment | Per record | 2 | The agents fill in all missing context on a company: industry, headcount, funding, recent news, and firmographic signals. Credits are charged per record, not per field. |
Email + meeting + Slack ingestion | Per item | 10 | The agents read the email or meeting, update fields on the right accounts, opportunities, and contacts based on what was discussed, surface suggested next steps, and keep summaries current. Includes any Slack messages tied to the record. |
Meeting processed (prep + summary) | Per meeting | 20 | Agents create a meeting prep document before the meeting and a summary with next steps afterward. |
Meeting recorded | Per 30 minutes | 15 | Recording and transcription of the call. |
Chat | Per run | Variable | Depends on how much reasoning a chat requires. Basic questions about your records charge minimal credits; requesting complex work charges more. |
Automations | Per run | Variable | Depends on how much reasoning a run requires. Simple runs cost less, complex ones more. |
Workflows | Per run | Variable | Depends on how much reasoning a run requires. Simple runs cost less, complex ones more. |
Sequences | Per run | Variable | Depends on how much reasoning a run requires. Simple runs cost less, complex ones more. |
What doesn't use credits
Lightfield charges for the work its agents perform, not for work you do yourself. Everything you do on your own in Lightfield is free, including:
Adding or creating records — Adding contacts, accounts, opportunities, and custom objects by hand.
Building your data model — Creating new objects and relationships that fit how your business actually runs.
Managing tasks, lists, and custom fields — Organizing your work and your data however you want.
Viewing dashboards and reports — Viewing your dashboards and reports does not draw on credits. Creating dashboards or running reports through chat does.
Viewing and querying — Reading, searching, and exploring everything in your workspace.
Entering data manually — Anything you type in yourself.
What matters is the work, not how you ask for it. An automation that enriches records draws credits whether it runs on a schedule or you kicked it off from chat.
How much will I use?
This depends on who's using it. We’ve observed three distinct types of usage patterns:
Who | What they do in Lightfield | Usage |
|---|---|---|
Active sellers: AEs, CSMs, founders running deals | Synced inbox and calendar, recorded calls, processed meetings, automations running on their pipeline | The large majority of your credits |
Customer-facing, non-selling: FDEs, support, solution engineers | Synced calendars and meetings, so their customer conversations land in the record | A fraction of a seller's usage |
Everyone else | Querying, reporting, dashboards — no synced inbox or calendar | Little to none |
We recommend budgeting roughly 8,300 credits per month for each active seller, or about 100,000 per year.
Worked example — one active seller in a typical month:
Activity | Volume | Credits |
|---|---|---|
Email + meeting + Slack ingestion | 500 items | 5,000 |
Meetings recorded (30 min average) | 40 calls | 600 |
Meetings processed (prep + summary) | 40 meetings | 800 |
Contacts enriched | 400 records | 800 |
Accounts enriched | 100 records | 200 |
Automations and workflows | varies | ~900 |
Total | ~8,300 |

Many of Lightfield's customers use the platform for outbound prospecting, which consumes more credits than standard CRM usage.
Credits power automations like target account identification and account research, as well as contact enrichment and sequence execution.

Common questions
What's included in each plan?
All core features are available on every plan. Every plan includes unlimited seats.
The primary differences between plans are your per-credit rate, credits included, and level of support we offer to help you stand up Lightfield.
Who gets access?
Everyone at your company, on all plans. Role-based access control, single sign-on, and BAA are Enterprise-only.
What happens if I use all my credits?
Nothing stops. Additional credits are billed at your plan rate, and alerts let you see it coming.
Can I add more credits?
Yes, anytime at your plan rate. To lock in a lower rate, increase your annual commitment upfront.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits are annual. Unused credits don't carry over at year end.
Can I switch to a higher plan later?
Yes. When you're ready, we'll size a commitment off your actual usage and lock in the lower rate.
How do I track usage?
In the usage dashboard in the product. You'll see a breakdown of your credit consumption across agent work and CRM activity.
Before you commit, we can also pull your expected usage and show you what the model looks like for your account.
Alerts are coming soon so you can see your usage in real time and get notified before you hit your limit.
I currently pay Lightfield for seats. When will my pricing change?
We will reach out before your workspace moves. No one is switched without hearing from us first. We'll show you your specific numbers before anything changes.
If I pay for seats now, will my bill go up under this model?
If your bill would go up under the new model, you'll hear from us first. We will reach out with your specific numbers before anything changes and you'll have the chance to adjust how you use Lightfield before your plan switches.
Note: your whole team will now have features that used to be Pro-only, including sequences, automations, and custom objects. Those draw on credits when used, so as your team picks them up, your usage could grow beyond what it is today.
Your account representative can show you where your usage stands now and what it could look like as adoption grows under the new model.
What if I'm unable to pay at the new rate?
Our goal is for the value you get from Lightfield to be worth what you pay.
We don't want anyone to lose access to their CRM because of pricing. Reach out and we'll work something out.
I signed up with a coupon that gives me discounted access. How does this change affect me?
We honor every coupon for its full term. You won't be moved to the new pricing model before your coupon expires.
What if I have questions about my account specifically?
Reach out — we can pull your actual usage and show you exactly what the new model looks like for your account.
