Understanding Admin and Member Access in Pylon
Last updated: March 31, 2026
Admin and Member Access
In Pylon, user roles determine the level of access and control within the platform. Understanding the differences between Admin and Member access is essential for effective management and collaboration.
Admin Access
Admins have full control over the workspace, including managing users, settings, and content.
They can access and restore Deleted Items, which are not visible to members. To view deleted items, admins should click on their name in the top left corner of the sidebar and select Deleted Items.
Admins can modify permissions, add or remove members, and oversee overall workspace security.
Member Access
Members have limited access focused on collaboration and content contribution.
They can create, edit, and view content but cannot access deleted items or manage user permissions.
Members rely on admins for administrative tasks and workspace configuration.
By clearly distinguishing these roles, Pylon ensures a secure and organized environment that supports both administrative control and team collaboration.
