1.7 Email not syncing — common causes
Check 1: Is your account connected? Settings → Mail and Calendar — look for a Disconnected or Error status. If disconnected, use the three-dot menu → Connect Account → re-grant all permissions (mail, calendar, and contacts).
Check 2: Is the domain on your Do Not Track list? Settings → Mail and Calendar → Do Not Track — if the sender's domain is listed, remove it.
Check 3: Is your record creation mode set correctly? If your sync mode is set to Disabled, no records will be created. Switch to Selective or Always.
Check 4: Is this an internal email? Emails between people on your own domain are excluded by design.
Check 5: Is this a personal email? Personal emails are excluded by default. If you want Lightfield to sync personal emails and auto-create contacts, you can check the check box under Mail and Calendar
Check 6: Did you recently change your Google account password? Changing your password revokes Lightfield's access token. Reconnect your account in Settings → Mail and Calendar.
Still not syncing? Contact support@lightfield.app with the affected email address(es) and approximate date range.
1.8 Calendar events not appearing
Check 1: Did the notetaker join the meeting? The Lightfield notetaker must join your call to produce a recording and transcript. Confirm the bot appeared in the participant list. If it was denied from the waiting room, no recording will exist — you can upload a transcript manually.
Check 2: Is recording enabled?Settings → Account → Recording — confirm "Record external meetings" is selected.
Check 3: Is the event internal? Meetings where all attendees share your domain are excluded by default.
Check 4: Is your calendar properly connected?Settings → Mail and Calendar — confirm your account is connected with all permissions (mail, calendar, and contacts).
Check 5: Is the event on a Do Not Track domain? If all attendees are from a blacklisted domain, the event won't be captured.
1.9 Which email providers are supported?
Currently supported: Gmail (Google Workspace) and Microsoft Outlook / Office 365

1.10 Can I connect multiple email accounts?
Yes. Each user can connect more than one email account. Go to Settings → Mail and Calendar → Add account → authenticate → set a sync mode (Disabled, Selective, or Always) for each account.

Note on permissions: Each team member connects their own email. Admins cannot connect another person's email on their behalf.
