Using Granola with Lightfield
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Lightfield is a native integration partner with Granola. Here's what you can do and how to set it up.
How the integration works
Lightfield connects to Granola via Granola's MCP connector. This lets Lightfield read your Granola meeting notes and sync them into your CRM — matching them to the right meetings, contacts, and accounts automatically.
Important: The Granola MCP connector does not push notes to Lightfield automatically. You'll need to trigger a sync manually or via a workflow (see below).
Enabling the integration
The Granola MCP connection is only available to workspace admins. To enable it:
Go to Settings → Workspace → Integrations
Find the Granola MCP connector and toggle it on
Once enabled, admins can use the connector inside Workflows.
Uploading Granola notes to a meeting
If you prefer to manage notes manually, you can upload your Granola notes directly to any meeting inside Lightfield.
Privacy is controlled at the meeting level — you choose who can see each meeting's notes.
To upload: open the meeting in Lightfield, and attach or paste your Granola notes.
Syncing Granola notes automatically (Workflow)
Since Granola doesn't push notes automatically, here's the recommended workflow to sync your notes into Lightfield:
Fetch your recent Granola meetings via the MCP connector
Match them to CRM meetings using attendee email overlap, title similarity, and meeting time
Upload the notes as transcripts for any matched meetings that don't already have one
Lightfield will then use those transcripts to update tasks, relationships, contacts, and accounts in the relevant opportunities
If a meeting already has a transcript in Lightfield, it will not be overwritten.
This workflow can be run on demand or set up to trigger via a webhook when available.
Tips
If a Granola meeting doesn't match a CRM meeting, check that the attendee emails and meeting time are consistent between both tools.
Meeting notes uploaded via Granola are treated the same as Lightfield's native meeting recordings — they'll be used for summaries, action items, and CRM updates.
