8.6 Can't access a workspace
You weren't invited You need to be invited by an admin. Ask them to go to Settings → Members → Invite via email.
Your invite link expired Invite links expire after 7 days. Ask your admin to resend the invite.
You're signed into the wrong Google account If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure you're signed in with the one your invite was sent to. Fix: Sign out of Lightfield → sign back in with the correct Google account.
Your account was deactivated Contact your workspace admin to reactivate it.
Still locked out? Contact support@lightfield.app with your email address and the workspace name or URL.
8.7 How does per-seat billing work?
A seat is counted when a user accepts their workspace invitation and is in an Active status. Deactivated users don't count.
How billing is calculated
Monthly — charged per active seat at the start of each billing cycle
Annual — charged upfront based on your seat count at the time of signing
Adding a seat mid-cycle — prorated for the remainder of the current billing period
Removing a seat mid-cycle — credited on your next invoice
There is no distinction between "power user" and "read-only" seats on the Startup plan.
To see your current seat count: Settings → Billing.
8.8 What happens when I downgrade?
If you downgrade from Pro to Startup:
Your data is preserved — accounts, contacts, opportunities, emails, meetings, notes, and tasks are not deleted
Custom objects become inaccessible — they're a Pro-only feature; data is retained but hidden until you re-upgrade
Workflow limits drop to 1,000 automations per seat per month — workflows exceeding this will stop running until the next cycle
White-glove support ends at the next renewal date
Advanced permissions revert to standard Admin/Member roles
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you retain Pro features until then. To discuss the impact before making the change, contact support@lightfield.app.
