Section 1B: Controlling Sync & Connecting Integrations
Last updated: April 25, 2026
1.4 Configure email sync scope (Do Not Track)
Not every contact belongs in your CRM. Investors, lawyers, and recruiters should stay out. Use Do Not Track to control this.
Add domains to Do Not Track
Settings → Mail and Calendar → Do Not Track → add domains (e.g., legalfirm.com) or specific email addresses. Lightfield will stop creating or updating records from those senders going forward.
Tip: Founders should add their investors' and outside counsel's domains right away — these conversations don't belong in your sales CRM.
What's excluded by default
Emails from your own domain
Personal email domains like @gmail.com
Blacklisting vs. deleting
Blacklisting a domain prevents new records from being created — it does not delete existing ones. To remove existing records, delete the account or contact directly. Once deleted, Lightfield won't recreate it.
1.5 Connect MCP tools (Granola, Notion, Linear, etc.)
Lightfield's MCP connectors let you connect external tools so the agent can access their data in real time.
How to connect
Settings → Connectors → browse available connectors → click Connect → follow the authentication flow.
Popular connectors
Granola — meeting notes and phone call recordings sync into Lightfield as transcripts, linked to the right accounts and contacts
Notion — query Notion documents from inside the Lightfield agent
Linear — link engineering issues to accounts and opportunities
Mixpanel — access product analytics alongside CRM context
Using Granola for phone calls
Granola is especially useful if you make outbound calls from your phone. Its iPhone app can record phone calls, and the Lightfield connector pulls those transcripts in automatically — treating them like any other meeting.
Custom connections
For tools not in the native connector list, go to Settings → Workflows to set up a webhook-based connection. You can describe the integration in plain language and Lightfield will help you build the workflow.
